Gun Raffle

1.  A maximum of 700 tickets will be sold. Sales end on December 20, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

2. Ticket prices are $25 for ONE ticket, $50 for THREE tickets. Limited to a max of 9 tickets per person. 

3.  Tickets will be sold at various Republican events and on this website.

4.  The purchaser of a raffle ticket must be 21 years of age or older, is a legal resident in the United States, is a law-abiding citizen of good moral character, may legally possess any of the firearms in the raffle, have intention of using any firearm won in a legal and safe manner, and will obtain or have already obtained instruction on the safe use of any firearm won. 

5.  Purchased tickets are numbered, are recorded by the seller to a master list. 

6.  Purchasers will receive a numbered receipt. 

7.  The drawing will take place on December 20, 2025 at 8:00 p.m.

9.  To preserve the winner’s privacy, only the winner’s first name and initial of their last name will be announced. GSFRW will call or email the winner after the drawing. 

10. The donor the firearm will be notified of the name of the winning ticket holder in the raffle.. 11. 11. A certificate will be sent to the winner by mail to the address provided at the time of the raffle ticket purchase. The GSFRW will not be responsible if mail delivery cannot be made to the address which was provided.  

12. The certificate must be presented to the gun donor at the time of redemption of the firearm.

13. Firearms are not transferable. Only the winner of the raffle can claim the firearm.  The GSFrW and the donor of the firearms reserve the right to make a substitution of equal or greater value if the firearm is not available.  

14. The winning ticket holder is responsible to claim the firearm they have won, and to provide any information required, and to pass any criminal or background check required to legally take possession of the firearm won. Inability to do so for any reason, will result in forfeiture of the ticket and winnings.

15. Winning ticket holder must make firearm transfers through the donor of the firearm. If they are Federal Firearms Licenses (FFL) dealer or through a FFL chosen by the donor. All applicable Federal and State Laws and all Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) regulations will apply, including with respect to winning ticket holder the laws of the Sates of his or her legal residence. The winner is responsible for any and all transfer fees.  

16. In the event a winning ticket holder needs or wishes to have the firearm won transferred to a local FFL dealer closer to his or her residence, shipping and any other additional costs involved with the transfer will be the responsibility of the winning ticket holder, and arrangements must be made directly between the winning ticket holder and the FFL chosen by the donor.  

17. THE FIREARM WON MUST BE CLAIMED AND ITS TRANSFER MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ITS RAFFLE DATE. Unclaimed winnings and tickets will be forfeited.  

18. This raffle is void where prohibited.

19. GSFRW makes no and is not liable or responsible for, any warranty, representation or guarantee relative to any firearm or other prize won, including the quality, condition or suitability or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranty, representation or guarantee are subject to the firearm manufacturer’s terms, if applicable. 

20. GSFRW, the donor, and any FFL associated with this raffle limit any and all liability to the purchase price ($25.00) of the raffle ticket.

21. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Greater Salem Federated Republican Women (GSFRW). Tickets are not tax deductible or refundable.
